On April 27 2018, the production of 8 containers of 304 stainless steel wire with bright finish, amounted to 200 tons, were all completed. It was delivered from CIVMATS plant directly to Shanghai Port, awaiting to be shipped to Kuwait.
As the project from Kuwait customer was of tight schedule, the 8 containers of stainless steel wire were actually arranged for instalment shipment as assented. The order was awarded to CIVMATS on February 12 2017 when the Chinese Spring Festival was forthcoming. This made the production schedule quite a challenge.
In China, factories almost ceased to accept urgent orders after middle December as workers were expecting their family reunion. Many workers left their hometown after Spring Festival of a year to earn for a living. It was not until another spring festival could they go back for a reunion. Double pay could hardly incentivize them to stay. For this, factories took priority on the completion of existing orders rather than on production arrangement of new orders after December. Bearing this in mind, customers from abroad will know how to circumvent the hard situation.
Early March when workers returned to work, CIVMATS lost no time to arrange production for the 8 containers of stainless steel bright wire. At the end of this March 4 containers were delivered to port for shipping and today another 4 containers were ready for shipment. It was lucky that the project was not postponed thanks to partial shipment.
