This is to introduce MKR (previously known as Markaride) shop in Seville, a physical store to display and sell fashion items for men and women, including clothes, bags and shoes, according to MKR Facebook business scope.

The Background Information of MKR shop in Seville
MKR shop in Seville was constructed during 2018-2019. It was a refurbishment project mainly serving three purposes. First, the previous retail space was restricted and poorly organized, in nonconformity with the actual regulatory standards. Second, the unstructured space deprived of brand focus, leaving the exhibition dispersed and distracted without a clear furnishing strategy. These two issues both called for refurbishment and redecoration work. Third, the new shop was intended to create new brand image through first-class architecture in the like manner as through its choiceful collections.
The ambition was revealed by MKR’s selection of the overwhelmingly superior location and one of the most recognized architects in Spain. Guillermo Vázquez Consuegra, the lead architect for this project, had reaped more than 80 awards at home and abroad by then. (MKR trend makers 2026)
The Design of MKR shop in Seville
The helicoidal stair in MKR shop that provides excellent spatial fluidity moving from one level to another is both highly functional and aesthetically elegant, adding a striking focal point to the whole design. The helix constitutes the rotation axis, enabling the ground floor to slide down to the basement floor at an angle of impossibly smooth 90 degrees.
The position and shape of the stair sets the tone for the configuration and area of the two huge display stands. The curved stair features varied heights and diameters, leading its internal concavity directly to the various articles exhibited for optimal effect.
In addition to the graceful stair, the design emphasis on homogeneity and coherence is another highlight worth elaborating. One noticeable change is the significant cut of exhibition items. This initiative maximizes the exhibition and sales space while expressing MKR’s aesthetic preferences clearly. Another transformation is the uniform use of silver-colored materials. This helps form an integrated and contemporary image of MKR shop, meanwhile it avoids detracting from what it cares the most, the displayed items for sale.
